To-Read: The Imperial Cruise by James Bradley

I'm going to use this blog as a way to make a list of the U.S. history books I want to read, as well as a way to list other things I've read.  I think I covered the bulk of that in my post below.  So, keeping with this idea I would like to eventually read this book:

The Imperial Curse by James Bradley.

  1. Interestingly enough, I am currently reading "Nation Within" by Tom Coffman which chronicles the history behind "America's Occupation" of Hawai'i. In the book (so far), Coffman is delving deep into the history of Teddy Roosevelt and how his ideological viewpoints were formed as it relates to the eventual imperialistic attitudes used to push for the annexation of Hawaii to the United States. We'll see how this develops in "Nation Within," and maybe one day I can read "The Imperial Cruise" and see how Teddy Roosevelt caused World War II.
